Radmin license hardware change tolerance
Radmin 3 recognizes and keeps track of the hardware in your PC and will ONLY use that information to monitor licensing compliance. The hardware tolerance of product activation is highly flexible and allows you to change several hardware components at the same time. Every hardware change adds a certain number of points to the total score as is shown in the following table:
Hardware change being made | Points |
---|---|
Reformatting system drive with the Windows installation | 2 |
CPU model replacement | 2 |
Changing RAM size | 1 |
CD-ROM model replacement | 1 |
HDD model replacement | 1 |
Display Adapter (video card) model replacement | 1 |
Motherboard model replacement | 4 |
If the total score is equal to or exceeds 6 points Radmin will consider your PC to be a new device and therefore will have to spend an additional activation.
